Sri Kalidas Education Society was started in 1977 under which our Sri Kalidas Arts and Commerce College Kerur has been functioning as per the Higher Education Ordinance of Govt. Today, in the serene environment of Badami, the farsightedness of Hon’ble sri B.B. Chimmanakatti .
Socially, Culturally, Linguistically, Nadu Nudi Music ,Tour, Sports Poetry Festival organizes tens of programs and students contribute to the society and every year our proud organization conducts Kalidasa Utsav and awards are given to those who have achieved. It is taking all the nations into its body and making it a garden of peace for all nation

Principal's Message
In India, we see people who have targeted education in the era when the world still did not know the heritage of letters, education was given to students in many universities in our unbroken India. When the British East India Company spread across our country and ran the administration in its monkey fist, many of the young workers were deprived of education and education was also deeply rooted.
Education After Independence Public Sector and Private Sector Providing Education Presently in 21st century education in India is growing very fast and private sector is playing an important role in providing most of the required courses to the students and our Sri Kalidasa Education Institute is one of them.
I am proud to serve as a Principal in Shri Kalidas Arts and Commerce College, Kerur. Sri Kalidas Education society where majority of students from all communities are admitted like a garden of peace for all castes.
The role of education is very important if the society is to be made stable, in this regard we will inform all the students about the objectives of disciplined higher education and make them an asset of the society through our university. Various life skills are imparted in classes.
